I need to get rid of my muffler. It's way too loud with Y-pipe, b-pipe and no cat. Anyone have one for sale? Or want to trade for my Stillen plus some cash?
Regardless of the muffler you use, it probably will NOT be bolt one. The biggest reason is that the new muffler will have to be welded on.
Now if you are running a catback of 2.5", the inlet of the 2000 max muffler is slightly smaller. So some fiddling will have to be done to get it to fit but I should not be a problem.
Noise. I don't run a resonator so you probably should not have to also. But you should make sure as to where the noise is coming from. If it's from under the shifter area, it's probably the flex section leaking. If it's from the rear of the car than yeah, the 2000 max muffler will do you just right.
