ABS light

My ABS light just went off. Here's what happened: I plugged in a power inverter in my cigarette lighter to test some GPS software and it works fine until I see smoke coming out of the exterior front passenger vent, near the windshield wiper. I turn everything off and it smells like urine! Then I turn everything back on again and I'm fine for a few minutes, then my power inverter shuts itself off, my system goes out, and the ABS light comes on. I pull over and turn everything off.

Then I try running the system off just batteries and it works fine, but when I turn to accessory, I get loud feedback from my subs and nothing works. When I turn on the engine, the system works, but only after getting feedback from the subs. My circuit breaker didn't open and none of my audio fuses were blown. What do you think the problem could be?

I am a newb at cars. I just fix my starter noise (high pitch sound when started) by regreasing the starter. But now my ABS light came on. What should I do to get rid of the ABS light? Thanks.

sounds like you blew some important and large fuses, or melted some wires
