mustang gt

I've got a friend who has a stock gt that he thinks will smoke all. He thinks my max doesn't have a chance against him. We are both autos. Has anyone raced a gt if so what were the results. I'm thinkin.

more information is needed to assess your chances. First off, are you Automatic or 5-Speed. What year and type of transmission does he have?

we are both autos and he has a 02 with a 4.6

he should be able to beat you. I think 99+ auto Gts run mid to high 14's stock.

the stang should win, provided he drives it decent. the '96 Max you have (correct?) doesnt have nearly the power that an '02 stang has. i think your buddy will definatly take you out, sorry bro.

first of all, don't go by those times
second of all...a 15.1 will still smoke you unless you have a freak

you're probably in the 15.7+ area stock (from your sig)
