HID bulbs, cleaning??

You know how you can clean halogen bulbs when they get dirty/greasy well I was wondering is it the same process with HID bulbs. You can see a little fingerprint on it and I wonder if it the same things like Halogen bulbs where they blow up or burn faster if they're all cover with our oily fingerprints cause if it's not than I won't clean it. Thanks in advance

i don't really know but i assume that you don't want greasy fingerprints on any type of bulb b/c it will cause the bulb to go out.

You can use rubbing alcohol and a lint free cloth (coffee filter).
