OK so they are out but they are on back order until September.

this is what i can do...

get a pre payment for the headers and you will have to wait at least 2 weeks until they get there and then ship them here(most prolly 1 week).

all back orders are until mid September begining of October. Then everyone who has paid them through a dealer gets them first...single orders will not be processed until dealer orders are out.

the retail price is $840 PLUS SHIPPING!!!

i can let them go at $830 shipped!... thats a savings of $60 +/- .

now realitivly speaking $60 is not much...but if you want them now(backorder date) you can not get them any sooner.

I still MAY be in, but I think like everyone else, it really depends on dyno results. I'm not going to dish out money, especially almost a grand for something that I don't know how good it works.

In other words, if you need a commitment without being able to first verify results, then I'm afraid I'm out.

The previous group deal everyon was talking in the 600-700 dollar range, shipped.

Why the big jump?

I kinda feel like this is the "it just came out and we are gonna milk those who want it for all its worth", kinda thing.

I'm not saying who is taking advantage od whome (Stillen, Middle men, etc.) but something does not seem Kosher with these "deals" unless the price drops or until others release there headers I'm gonna wait on these as the extra $200-$300 does not seam worth it just to be the first kid on the block to have them.

Why don't we make this group deal.
1. 40 poeple
2. $500
3. Tell Stillen "take it or leave it"
4. Remember, they will only sell them at this price if people are willing to pay for it. So lets get a group and tell them what we are willing to pay.

 

While I sure like being #1 on the list I just can't fathom spending that kind of cash for these. Back when we thought there would be a 20+HP gain and pricing in the $500 range I'd be all over it even though I really don't have the cash. But for this price and less ponies I'm going to sit back and wait not only to see the real world results of these but to see if the will be any competitor alternatives to $tillen in the future.

Sorry,but I have to back out of this group-deal. I just can't see myself spending that much on headers right now(plus $$$$ for installation) I'm just gonna wait until CATTMAN makes a Y-Pipe for 02-03 maxima's.

I thought these headers were going to have a problem fitting the 5th gen but would fit altimas and 6th gens?

 

Looks like the demand on these is horrible so far. I guess unless we see a guniea pig go for it first , thne its all for nonthing ! Emax has lost interest in his Max. He is busy with Yu-Gi-Oh or whatever those cards he likes are....

 

What's the latest? Any dyno yet? I'm curiously interested.

 

The headers haven't arrived at anyone's hands yet.
