4th gen with 6th gen grill?

So i was drivin to the mall on tuesday and i see a white 4th gen, 95-96 and it had what looked like a 6th gen grill on it. It didn't look like it was in there too clean, so i have no idea whether it was actually taken off the 04 max and cut or if it was homeade or what because i dont know the size of the new max's grill. It didn't really look that good but it was def the same style at the 04's if anyone else has seen this let me know. and it wasn't a trenze grill. Thanks.

Why would you replace a good-looking 4th gen grill with that ugly tooth grill from the 6th gen?

that is by far the stupidest mod i've heard of
the one weak point on the 6th gen is that fugly grill

what this guy might have done is got a 2004 sentra grill which looks similar, but is not as high (better fitment) but still downgrade for appearance.

97-99 = best grille EVER for maxima's

95-96 wasnt too great IMO so i can understand why he wanted to change it but the 6th gen grille on a 4th gen is

speaking of which, anyone seen the new sentra commercial? the front grille looks just like maxima, only smaller

The Big Tooth !! Im a yuck mouth cause I dont brush !

IHR/08.17.03

Breaking News: "Single Tooth - Yuck Mouth" Mod gaining popularity in the 4th Gen Maxima Community !

As any daily driver may tell. The import scene and car modding is gaining much popularity this year. Our latest reports have identified the lastest new craze in the Nissan Maxima Community.

It is called the Single Tooth - Yuck Mouth Mod, and if this sweeps the Maxima community with force. Many of us will have to drive our cars in fear of THE TOOTH. This horrific looking grill is a constant reminder of what a hardy diet of sweets, sugar and junk food will do to the human grill !

The tooth was originally designed by several: Overweight, sweet tooth, candy loving, horror/gore movie loving Japanese engineers ! The theory behind the grill is much like missing most of your teeth. Better air flow with less resistence.

Import Haven Reports will continue to keep a watch on this one, but we like many.. hope it does not take flight. I say this simply because of the enormous numbers of 4th Generations on the road.

Stay Tuned !

i smell a RICER ! lol j/k
I wish we could send our design opinions to nissan. that UGLY tooth girll has gone from the max to sentra to quest. i hope they dont even think about putting it on the altima or the rest of the nissan family of cars.
if it was up to me, i would go over to japan and beat the living **** out of the person who came up with the idea of the TOOTH GRILL. not only it ruins the entire look of the 04 maxima, it also gives the maxima a bad REPUTATION. THE TOOTH GIRLL CAR. wtf is nissan thinkin by puttin that stupid grill on sentra and quest too? cant they find a better way of showin off that NISSAN emblem??? how can we tell nissan about this stupid grill? it really ****es me off.

thanks a lot bro, I went up to Akron to visit Brett and he personally installed it for me. He's the one that made it. It's solid, not some cheap grill. If anyone's interested, contact him @phsinvent@aol.com

Re: Re: 4th gen with 6th gen grill?

it was bad when they put it on the 6th gen and the base sentra, then i realized they scrapped the sweet "skyline inspired" front end on the SER and i crapped my pants. how could they do such a thing?
