stage 2 vb and manumatic

hoohaa..

finally got my manumatic controller all finished today. have to rework the display in the gauges but that's easy stuff. Once I found the right wires to tap into and started looking at the right connector, the install was really easy. As to how it works, no problems there. Combined with the vb mod I just got done @ max tuning last week, my auto is much more fun. I still wish it was a stick, but until that time that I can do a conversion, this works. The only downside is now I can really tell that my tranny is starting to go. The 2-3 shift is aight, but 3-4 is ridiculously sloppy .. oh well, anyway.. just thought i'd share. peace

I have a road trip from Maine to Maxtuning set for next week. You like your VB mod that much? I am starting to get a bit timid about doing the VB mod. I like performance but also like a shift that doesnt make my passengers think their life is in danger when it slams into gear. How hard does it shift into second? Did you get the maxtuning "street strip" vb mod? Speaking of VB mods, I should be doing my tranny cooler right now but I am sitting on here

yeah, i'm happy with it.. the street / strip 1-2 shift isn't that bad.. I mean it's harsh yes, but doesn't feel like the car is falling apart.. i would say worth it..
