E-brake dont work, dammit

Hi, I have a 96 max. For some reason when i put up the ebrake, the left rear wheel works but the right wheel doesnt hold. I thought maybe my cable got F$%@ed up, but when i installed my sway bar i check them out and the seemed fine. If anyone knows the cause of this please inform me. I have a 5-speed and use the ebrake a lot. On steep hills, the ***** starts to roll cause it wont hold leaving me to leave my car in 1st gear.

Check your line on the right side near the rear wheel. If there is a frey, or tear where it meets the frame of the car, it's already too late. Moisture has already got in, and seized the cable. I always had trouble with my emergency brake cable, because of the numerous lifting of the car near these points. This is prone to rub the cable along the frame if it is wedged there. I must have went thru 3 cables, because of this. Luckily, you can replace one side at a time if you need it.

When you pull the e-brake handle, can you verify that the e-brake actuator on the caliper moves? If it does not move, then the piston won't advance to lock the disk rotor. If it moves, another possible problem is that the notch on the piston is not aligned with the nub on the disk pad.
