I'm in Austin, TX. My wife wants a 2002 Grey SE. How much should an excellent condition 2002 SE with leather, auto 36K miles be worth ? I'm looking for approx. high and low range. Also do you folks reccomend buying from a dealer, private party or a Certified Pre-owned.

Also what issues, besides the detonation due to bad ECU program, should I be aware of on these particular models ?

I have a 2002 Maxima GLE in beautiful pearl white with only 22K miles on it, driven 80% by my fiance and meticulously maintained by myself.
I'm seriously considering getting into a new G35 sedan instead, but don't want a Maxima and a G35 in the household.
