My dealer is refusing to do the lack of power tsb -help-

I gave my dealer the tsb and he said they pulled the number from my computer and the tsb does not apply to my car. I have the lack of power big time. I read in previous posts that it applies to all 02 Maximas. I have an 02 6-speed. My dealer said as he read further into the tsb, my number (from the ecu) was not included. Is this right? It's going in tomorrow morning. I need something solid to prove they're wrong. If they are. Help?

if it's not in the range then it's not in the range and they don't HAVE to do it. +1 on davidime's comment, go to another dealer and see if they'll do it, but don't go in with the "you have to fix my car" attitude or they'll refuse, too.

I tried and I fall within the VIN #'s it applies too. I was told could not duplicate but I went too a different dealer than normal. I was also told that the tech said my car felt faster than the other maximas he had previously driven

It does apply to your 2002, just keep going to more dealers till you find one that will do it.

I did mine at Pinnacle Nissan/Infiniti of Scottsdale. They took my car in for the tsb. They did the ecu upgrade but I already had the current MAF. The repair sheet I got said they could duplicate the problem but they never did take it for a test drive. Mine is a 2003 se.

ALL 2002's get reprogramed and MOST of them get the new MAF 22680-AM600. Just get a better dealer.

Hey dude, I had the same thing happen to me. The dealer didnt know wtf i was talking about. When I told him about the tsb along with the prnt out I had, he said "Ok make an appointment"... he said it takes about a day.... my friend did it in 20 mins... well for a 2k3 max. He didnt have to change the MAF. I am going again to fix my ECU, Strut problem, and reverse problem. I love my car, but god damn... only 6000 miles and I have three defects... =(
