Well, I've had may Max for close to two years and the non-Bose CD player crapped out on me. I was debating on whether to just get a aftermarket HU, but decided I wanted to keep the stock look(maybe eventually I'll get a more powerful HU)I'm still under warranty so I figured I'd take advantage of it. So the local Nissan dealership ordered me a new one, 7-10 days.

Didn't realize how $hitty the Clarion system is. Oh well, at least its the only issue I've had with my Maxima, knock on wood.

 

usually clarion makes great HU's, i think your's is an isolated case. I think you made a wise decision, let nissan pay for it
