1999 5 Speed Shift ****

I want to upgrate to a MOMO Shift **** but am unsure of how to remove the stock ****. I've tried turning it but it doesn't budge; anyone know how to remove the stock ****? Thanks

turn harder counter clockwise. nissan puts glue on the threads thats why its so hard to turn. just turn harder is all I can say.

grab a set of pliers, put a cloth between the jaws, grab the **** and twist!

Use pliers

that is the only way i got mine off. I messed up the stock **** though. Ahh Well, I had one itching to be put on.

my friend used a jar opener on mine...and it worked without damaging the **** at all

I tried the cloth/plier method but it kept slipping
eventually I got ****ed, and destroyed the stock ****...OH WELL! My c/f one looks much better

Anything u can do to losen up the glue? Blow Dryer??? Hrm.. Im bout to put a short shifter+ a momo **** on there... Gunna be kick ***
