Brake Help: vibration/clicking noise under hard braking only
Brake Help: vibration/clicking noise under hard braking only
Hey guys.. swapped out 4 slotted/xdrilled rotors with Axxis metal matrix pads on the maxima today..
when i went to bed the pads, under hard braking, i get this weird rythmic vibration noise coming from the driver side front wheel (steering wheel is NOT shaking) and its like a clicking noise...
when i do soft braking its fine, but when i'm 'on the pedal' say 60 to 15 mph, its pretty bad and i can hear/feel the clicking/buzz in the brake pedal..
there seems to me some air in the lines (which is strange since the pedal felt normal to me before swapping the pads and i didnt dis engage the caliper from the SS lines...
any ideas? could it be the piston is not setting right? or that the air in the lines might be the culprit?
i double checked to see if the caliper and the piston parts were bolted on correctly and they were.. its really strange!
help!
