I've never done it and my undercarriage and wheel wells are dirty with dried mud and want to know what is the best way to clean it.

 

I use a long handled, stiff brush with plenty of soapy water. May take a few times to get them really clean. And a green scratch pad helps get in tough areas. Don't forget a toothbrush. A pressure washer (or the local car wash) works good for the mud. Just be careful with pressure if you'll be doing around O2 sensors, bottom of engine, etc, because of the electrical connectors. Afterwards, you can use a tire spray foam stuff to dress them, or a vinyl/plastic/rubber protectant. It also makes them easier to clean in the future. But while you have them clean (and before dressing them), you can touch up any undercoating chips with undercoating spray paint (available from Auto Zone, etc...).

Westley's Bleche white and a high pressure hose will get your wheels wells nice and clean.

 

go to a self service car wash and use their pressure washers to get up in the wheel wells and reach under the undercarriage and spray that off real good.Then go home use a wheel well brush to get the stuff u may have missed,then just hand wash ur car.

My undercarriage is black....only because of lots of vht and rubber

 

This weekend I'm going to scrub down the wheel wells really good and paint them black. I've heard its a lot easier to keep them clean and looking good that way.
