Vortech Blower Question

Hey everyone. I just installed a used V2 supercharger over the weekend (after paying $100 for just 2 stand off bolts) lol. and I want to say i just love the passing power on the freeways. But my blower sounds like its rattling.... i can barely hear it in idle, dont hear it in drive. but the rattling is extremely loud in reverse. I pulled the filter the off to find that the fan in the blower is rubbing (scraping?) the front of the cylinder in the blower. What can I do to stop this....?

Any suggestions would be appreciated guys.

That's weird. Why would it rattle in reverse? The blower doesn't change direction when the transmission is in reverse.

have you checked the belt and pulleys? the bolt that holds the tensioner adjusting bracket was loose on my car and the thing was rattling really loud. Just pull your parking brake and put the car in reverse. open your hood and see if there's anything that's vibrating near that area.
