maxi taxi?

the other day i saw a 2002+ maxima taxi.. and it ****ed me off that they're using our cars as taxis...in metro atlanta (georgia)....
i felt like our cars were cheapened...

I've seen a few 4th gen taxi's around in Phoenix.

Don't feel bad. I just moved back to the US form Sweden. They are using Mercedes S500 and BMW 700 series as taxi cabs! How do you think MB and BMW owners feel?

My GF's parents said that's what they experienced in Paris as well. They asked the cab drivers about it, and they said that they can get a nice S class benz (they have cloth interior over there too) that will last them for years and years. They don't cost as much over there either.

Can't speak for Paris, but in Sweden they can write almost the whole thing off as a business expense, hence the nice "offices".

in paris they're mostly MB E200 or E220 that they use for cabs... not exactly the same as the E320/430/500's that we see here... there's a world of difference...not sure about sweden...
