Honestly...

this is not the answer you want...but i've tried a lot of wheel cleaners myself and found that the best stuff is dishwashing liquid, a sponge, and a lot of elbow grease.

yeah i don't like wheel cleaners...some are too abrasive. I use simple green....that stuff takes the cake when cleaning...if your wheels are painted...after cleaning them throw a coat of wax on them to protect the paint and keep em lookin good...

I've always just used regular car-wash soap and a rag or sponge.. it will get off 99% of the gunk, then every couple of months (or just before a car show in my case) I'll use super clean to get off any tar or asphalt or nasty stuff, then wax them with megiure's yellow wax.. works great.

Matt is right, if you use carwash soap to get most of the stuff off you will be cool. However, I use a little windex after that, and the 1% of crap that is left comes off with no problem.

The problem with most wheel cleaners is that they are too acidic and people leave them on too long. I used to use Eagle One A-to-Z wheel cleaner, but now I just wipe them with a rag and some all-purpose non-acidic cleaner. It cleans them just as good, if not better, then any wheel cleaner. Oh, btw, I used to work at a detailing shop, and we used this extremely acidic wheel cleaner on almost every car. It actually turned white when you put it on! I used it on my wheels and it ate some of the clear coat off of the wheels.

Hot water, palmolive and a brush......like a wheel brush or vegetable brush....if you do it once a week.....easy as washing the car.
