Going to the track tomorrow me and WRX (couple questions)

Finally tomorrow my frined (with a WRX) and I will make the trip to the track. the weather suppose to be very hot and humid, but I I will finally see how my max will do against his WRX. We raced before and he beat me twice and I had him once, but this time it will be fair and square. I was wondering what tire pressure I should keep on my Craptezas? I tried getting some new wheels but couple of my friends have slicks but they are from a z28 and a TA and they will not fit my max. Also should I add some octane booster to my tank will that help at all?
Thanx in advance for the responses

Premium Fuel - VQ35DE? ive raced my friends WRX when he had intake, exhaust and chip - and i beat him 2/3 times in my auto and his stick - and he is a GOOD driver - he beats Crappy EVO drivers all the time - but as for the LS1's my friend has one - and uhmmm.. TOTALLY different story

i beg to differ - they have bad power loss and dong weigh that much - like i said the first time he beat me he got the jump and then i pulled and beat him like half a car - second time i got off the line better than him - its all a game of chance

stock, but dont power break it you will spin all day if your tires have some kind of traction - then you can just floor it off the line - shift the auto stick manually though

if he doesn't beat you at the track he needs too learn how too drive it. From a roll is a totally different story. The wrx and auto max have similar trap speeds but 2.1-2.2 60' vs 1.8-1.9 is tough too win from a dig at the track.

Most WRX's are hitting mid to hgh 13's with minor mods. With bogger turbo FMIC, etc. . . the cars I'm building are hiting low 12's. The STI I'm building should do 11's easily. So basically unless the WRX is stock mostly, you're going to lose.

Ya, it's all about the launch. He'll take you if he drives it aggressivly. your car is probably good for mid 14's and his is a little better if his launch is nice. I've seen WRX's running low to mid 14's if they get nice launches, but only trapping at like 92 or 93. but ya, its definatly all about the launch. Test the track out, see how sticky it is. If it's a sticky track you can floor it off the line w/o wheel spin, but if its not too sticky you'll spin the tires thru 1st unless you roll on the gas. Have fun tho!
