my a/c really is lame after all

While in for 3,750 service I was surprised when the service manager agreed that my a/c was lame. Inlet temp was 87° and outlet was 57° at idle. The tech evacuated the system and found 0.9 pounds of r-134a versus spec of 1.1 pounds. Duct temperature was 48°F (at speed) before and 42°F after. Maxima trip computer said it was 103° on the way home and the a/c at the outlet was too cold on my hands--noticeable improvement. Now if we could just figure out where the 0.2 pounds of freon went...

G'day,

Can I ask did this cost you or was it covered under warranty? As I have noticed me a/c does not do all that good of a job as well and I don’t live in a hot state.
