Well, it's official.....im keepin the MAX!

Ok, well...i just got a call from the Body shop..they have negotiated out a deal, IN MY FAVOR to ave my vehichle repaired.
Originally the Insurance company wanted all these after-market parts installed on my vehichle. now some body shops who dont really care about the customer may have said...ok, and went ahead with the repairs.

Bradley Allan Auto Body in Encinitas CA actually cares about the customer.
They told me they wouldn't allow the vehichle to be repaired using those types of parts and they had my back. claiming they would concider the vehichle a total loss if oem parts were not used.(wich i agreed with them, i didnt want it back under those circumstances) The battle was won and the insurance company has agreed to their estimate using Nissan Parts. $14,900.00 damages WOW.The law actually states aftermarket parts can be used at the insurance companies disgression (can you beleive that) so im happy...i wanted to keep my maxima, these guys do great work...and my paint will probably be less chip prone after this than the stock crap. plus they are shaving the license plate holes for a cleaner look! so look for continued post whorism from me in the future!

Look out mods...here i come!

I was in the same boat as you. The guy that hit me, his insurance company refused to pay for OEM parts. So, I had to go through my insurance to get OEM parts and they will get reimbursed from the other guys insurance. I double checked and my insurance isn't going up. Thank god!

My damage was around $9k-10k. Front and back damage just like yours.

I' am glad it all worked out for you. Very good choice on the body shop, they did an outstanding job on my co-worker's car.
