There aren't really any shocks out right now that would be best with the Tein springs. Just wait for the Illuminnas.

The Illuminas are 5 way adjustable and change both compression and rebound together.

The release is listed on their site here and was also verified by a phone call.

I had them on my old Eclipse and loved them. You could tell a big differene between 1(soft) and 5(hard).

I don't believe the fall of 03 deal. AGX's rumor was Summer of 03 and hell they haven't even looked into developing them for the 5th gens yet. I will believe it when I see it. I have the GR2's and they perform great and stiffin up the body nicely. I recommend them too anyone wanting less body roll and great handling.

I'd say 5k or so, but it will probably be floaty. The drop looks good though

I hit 2 months and about 2000 miles with the stock struts today. The ride still isn't bad but i'm starting to notice a slight bounce to it's step over dips and irregular expansion joints. With that in mind, they might make it to 4500-5000 miles before low rider bouncing starts. As everyone else will say..........i recommend you change the springs and struts at the same time or at least soon after. Me, i was bored one day. Didn't feel like waiting for a few months on struts. As soon as the Illuminas are release(i hope), the stockers are out.

They are like $300 or so for the set. I'd say the GR2s. I had adjustables on my 2000 Max and I really didn't like them. I couldn't feel the difference whatsoever between any of the settings and they made noise (poor install?).

What kinda noise? We installed springs on a friends 2002 and it started making noise. I took the springs off, PUt a coating of greese on it and it went away.
