many places will give these because they make less money per unit but more money overall, plus it is a quick turnover. many businesses dont even have product on hand. they take the orders and have a central distributer send them out.
some places will not do group deals, however, because they think they will be losing money. this is a common misconception. because many of those that buy group deals are those that only want to buy it because it is discounted. Anyone business class would tell you that not only is it better to sell a "fast nickle" then a "slow dime" but that you will sell more in the long run if you have discounts. This is why business have sales. custome goes, "Why thats cheap, I want one" and you get a sell that you might not have gotten otherwise.
