When I first turn on the AC, air stinks like crap but it goes away in a min or so. Is that because of the filter? I have 20k miles on my car

mildew in the vent piping... blow the heat after you park the car each time. it will help it dry out...

I think he means to spray Lysol or Ozium in the cabin air intakes by your windsheild wipers. I try to do it once every 3 or 4 months.

looslip, thanks for the info.

Ammi, look at where your wipers rest. There are a bunch of holes running the length of it - that's where the air comes into the cabin.

Just run the heat for 15 seconds or so after you park the car. just want to get all the cool air out so that condensation doesnt build up.
