OEM Carbon Fiber Hood $315!!

Only need 5 orders and your price is $315. Been getting these from a new manufacturer and our customers were very pleased with the quality. Our usual price is $449 and we have them on sale on our website for $349. Your price is $315 plus $100 shipping. Residential delivery is $20 more. We guarantee your satisifaction on the quality and fitment. Save yourself shipping and pick them up from our warehouse in Danbury, CT if you prefer. This applies to BOTH 4th and 5th gen hoods.

Just purchased 54 hoods and want to move them out fast. Call or email me if interested. Tyler will be posting list of who is on the list to keep you all updated.
Thanks,
Greg

If only I could fabricate CF... I'd have no problems taking the money instead of having it taken...

Interesting...it would be nice to see some high-res pics of this hood, and installed pics too! Are they built with latches?

I'm in, how many people are there so far? BTW would the hood stay up like the way our stock do or do we need a rod to hold it up?

Why do people install CF hoods? Is it because of its weight? Does that really make that big of a difference in performance? Also, why is there so much craze for CF hoods when they are so mis-matched with the rest of the body's color... just curious, I never had a CF hood.

You use your factory hinges so it stays up on its own. I installed a few on my own and did not have any fitment issues. Of course if you have any fitment issues we will be happy to exchange it for a new one. Obviously there could be defective parts and we will stand by it to get you a replacement.

teejut: that was our old manufacturer, we found another manufacturer to make the hoods better quality and faster for us.

Greg, You say you can use your factory hinges and hood struts? How is it that you can do that? Mot people I talk to mention that the stock hood struts are too strong for a CF hood and if you use them, and you go to close the hood, you will snap the CF near the hinge area because the strut is putting too much force on it.

Are your hoods different so it can use the hood struts? Cause the last thing I would want is that I go to close the hood and the CF snaps/cracks and try to understand who is to blame.

I am sorry I did not mean using the factory hood strut. Just the factory hood latch and the hinge that attaches it to the vehicle. You are correct that it would snap under the strong force of the hood strut.

Can I have the CF hood painted so it matches my majestic blue body color? How much would that usually cost...?

Although some people are willing to spend their money right away, I think most people like are not. I'd really like to see some good pics of the hood installed showing the fitment, the edges, as well as the supports underneath.
