decent $100-120 tires?
decent $100-120 tires?
right now i have pirelli supersports on... they're worn down and need replacement. I love the grip on them... but theyh are very noisy.
I want quiet tires w/ a decent amount of grip... probably all season tires.
What do you guys recommend??
235 50/ZR-W17

Kumho KH11? The reviews on tirerack seem decent. I just ordered some in 225/50/17 for $98/tire and will probably put them on this week.
i have a question...
my current tire size is 235/50/17W...
the first number can be changed w/o fitment issues, right?
ie. 230/50/17W would fit? I am having a hard time finding tires w/ my current size on tirerack.

A few other good tires I've been through (in order by favorite)...
Bridgestone Potenza SO3 (grip grip and more grip, lasts ~15k)
Bridgestone Potenza RE750 (damn good grip, lasts ~30k)
Yokohama Parada Spec 2 (amazing cornering grip, lasts ~25k)
A few members swear by Sumitomo HTR+
I'm amazed by Sumitomo HTR 200 (for their $46 price for the gf's car)
Also, on 17s, I'm pretty sure you're suppose to be running 235/45/17. 50s are a bit tall.

yeah... i've had someone else mention how my tire size seems a bit off. I'm not sure... what's the middle number for? blah i should look this up, well i am gonna start researching. hopefully the tires you've mentioned are around the 100-120 range heh, because i gotta add another 20 per tire for lifetime warranty.
