I have an 03 Grey Lustre GLE with several paint chips on the hood, and on the corners of the trunk. I am trying to get this resolved with Nissan, with no luck. If anyone has any pics of their Max with chipping paint, please post them here for me. Thank You!

wow, Maximam, i feel for you. i didnt think it was that bad of a problem. i just got a new bumper and hood through insurance so hopefully the paint will last now.

He goes off roading... With the way us 4th gens sit stock, that could easily be a possibility...

 

OMG i didnt kno it was that bad as Maximan are others like this too? i thought havin like 5 paint chips was bad but wow that makes me hurl i cant even stand lookin at that makes me sick....if i was him and with all that i wouldve gone to the dealer and just kicked everyone in the a$$

There are lots of old threads about this. All cars have water-based paint now that chips easier. Try one of the clear film shields by 3M. See
