Oh no, another brake thread...

Ok here's my deal, my stillen xdrilled are shot after about 35K and I'm going to go with the Brembo blanks. My question is my pads were put on about 3 months ago (Raybestos QS) and I would like to reuse them because I'm sure they're in good condition. I'm just afraid that I might warp my new rotors faster than if I used new pads. Is there a way to sand the pads down to prevent this? Any feedback is appriciated!

Thanx
Robert

Why would you put new pads on when the pads you have are basically new?

If you really want to be fussy about it, scuff the old pads with some sand paper to get a fresh surface to bed into the new rotors.

Follow a proper bedding in process, several agressive stops with ample cooling time in between.

If you haven't done it already, flush your brake fluid now as well. Brake fluid is hydroscopic and absorbs moisture which causes contaminates your brake hydraulic system.

I am only concerned that I could ruin my new rotors with the old pads. BTW how should I flush the system?
