let's hear it...

my current project - get my ghetto adjustable FMU tuned and figure out what causes the high EGT....

my future plan - water injection, S-AFC and get a cat-back system to complete the exhaust.

wishlist : larger injectors......

I just finished making an adapter plate for a Pathfinder throttle body, so right now I'm working on getting that installed. I'm probably going to take the mevi off in order to match port it with the TB, so I'll be putting the USIM back on temporarily.

I'm also working on a modified intake pipe setup that ought to be a little less restrictive than the Stillen setup. Details later, it should be interesting.

In the near future, I'm putting Z32 injectors in, along with a JWT ecu and a Z32 maf. The Z32 maf will have to go before the SC inlet, so I'm working out the details related to that.

Longer term projects planned are a Cattman header/y-pipe and 3" cat back with Flowmaster muffler.

After all that, it's time to think about a Quaife.

Then, if I win the lottery or my son decides he wants to join the Army instead of going to college, I'm building an engine and going turbo.

Pathfinder TB as well, 550 cc injectors, JWT/something ECU/computer, New y-pipe, new down pipe, new exhaust, New turbo, some stuff that I have yet to figure out, trying to get 12 PSI, aiming for 400 WHP/TQ

Thinking about 245/40 19 's thinking traction and "stance"

Current plan - 3.125" pully, 370cc injectors, SAFC, dyno. Gonna tune it "Mardi Style" as there is no ECU option for me.

Next up (spring?) - Intercooler. Haven't decided between a FMIC or AWIC, but right now I'm leaning towards a FMIC.

Built Level 10 Tranny with custom LSD (it's never been done before)
8.5:1 CR pistons from SGP Racing (already ordered)
Custom weight matched lightweight forged connecting rods (ordering next month from Pauter Machine)
Custom turbo kit of the T04B nature (still dunno exactly...too many choices)
Stand alone engine control system (FAST or something like it...still researching)
FMIC and appropriate piping
18x8" Volk GT-7's (maybe gunmetal) +38mm offset for the street and 16x8" TE-37's for the track

That's enough damage for one year...

My current project is rebuilding the entire turbo kit, which is 95% done.

What I did was ceramic coat all the exhaust piping except the downpipe. Made new Intercooler piping, new silicone couplers, new Tbolt clamps. Removed the steel brake line as the oil feed for turbo and put in a 6an braided line inplace with AN fittings. Re-did the fuel hoses with braided lines and AN fittings. Moved MAF over to intake side.

Also ordered a Big Brake kit will be here in two days. Also ordered a Carbon Fiber hood which will also be here soon.

So I think that enough for me for now.

Next plans are to go 5spd as soon as I smoke up my auto tranny.

Simple stuff
- Finish NX install (just need to connect the nitrous line and fill up bottle)
- GReddy Emanage (?)
- still searching for larger injectors (don't want to use additional injectors)

More complicated stuff
- Full motor build up
- AWD conversion

Just kidding on the AWD conversion.

You have traction control, or you have a limited slip diff? If you're an auto with LSD (and a stock US market Maxima), then you're right...you'd be the first. I've never in my life heard of another auto WITH LSD...

Well SOAB...I never even heard of those guys and the work they did on their tranny's (or you, for that matter). Very well, I'll be the first drive by wire '02-'03 3.5L Maxima to have this done. How do you like your tranny then? PM me with all the details. I don't want to uselessly clutter this thread...

I wish Matt would chime in more often than he does, but if you read his writeup on his webpage he says that he put the GFORCE on about 2 weeks after he had already installed the 370 injectors and gotten the car running.

He didn't use the ECU to control fuel for the Z injectors.

Oh yes.

Now if I can just convince the wife that repainting the game room can wait another week...

Once that's in place I can run a 3/4" hose back to a molded rubber piece off of a Z32 that I'm using to connect the maf to the blower inlet.

my current project is to get this "supercharger" hooked up to my car somehow

actually i'm just trying to get my car running right now. Once I do I plan on keeping it near stock while building up my original engine for some big power.
