A32/cefiro trunk spoiler lip on 4th gen?

is the I30's trunk the same length as maxima's?

I know nismo had an M5 spoiler on his car a while ago, do you guys think this will be a better fit?

i measured the m3 and m5 trunk lids versus my 4th gen (95 gle). the m3 and m5 run at 47inches whereas the Max ran 49inches across the trunk lid.

i considered the mod, and even had the lip run acros it. the problem is our trunks are rounded at the top (like a breadbox) and also convexed at the corner facing the rear of the car. The bmw trunk is straight from end to end.

Even though the bmw lip was shorter by 1.5 inches at each side, i taped it down to check anyways. Personally i just didnt look right. The M3 looked a bit better than the m5 because of the elevated slope, but it didnt fit right even after adjusting the angle.

It does look good on an i30

I test fitted one today and I brought it off the guy becuase I liked it too much lol

pics coming soon.. stupid car domain is really laggy

the length on that thing is PERFECT. BUT the edge needs to be bended down, the I30's trunk is flat and our max's trunk has a little bit of a curve on the side.. pic coming soon it looks really good
close up

further away

without pushing down

on I30's flat trunk

today sucks its really rainy and dark my camera can't focus

Costco u have pm

btw- the lip you have now would be a better fit than my M5 lip. I did mine before these cefiro lips arrived so I had to work with what I had.

Yep. I measured a real M3 and M5 trunk lip. Not a knock off. The trunk is rounded at the rear so it really doesnt accentuate the lines as cleanly as the BMW. The bimmer has sharper straighter lines.

But to each his own.

I think it's good that people are trying new things...even if sometimes it doesn't look right....but the more we try the more we'll stick with and look where it got the honda community....

BTW: Looks good.......unique.

Sorry just getting off work and thought of that. Its a black Maxima with the trunk shaved but having the back up lights like the IS300. He has a wing on it that is better looking than that one that is posted and I was wondering what wing is that.
