I have a 'donor' car (my old 96 SE, which my mother now drives) that I'd like to take the fogs out of and put into my 96 GXE. Anyone know if all I have to do is:

-remove the fogs from the SE
-cut out the foglight 'grill' from the GXE bumper
-plug in the fogs (there seems to be a pre-wired connector on the GXE)
-switch the stalks (is this just an unplug situation or do I have to do some wire mincing?)

Anything I'm missing? Any mounting hardware that I need to pickup from a dealer?

I'll do a writeup for this one, hopefully by tomorrow night if I can get an answer to this today; don't want to take the dremel to my bumper if this isn't possible!

Am I just taking the old one out of the SE or do I need to put in a new one?

 

you can just take it out from SE and put it in where it was fog relay on your GXE. I think the fog relay is in the passenger side relay box.
