a race for craig mack

two domestics.

Z28 LT1 383 stroker, extensive head work, and nitrous
didnt say how much but said it was built to hold 300shot. word on the street was 150-200, but I dunno

SS LS1, I dunno what this stuff means but heres what he has:
ported and polished heads, bigger valves, better valve springs, huge cam, kn filter, 1 7/8" long tube headers, slp mass air, ls1 motorsports lid, 315/17 rear tires, short shifter and a spec clutch and it seems like somin else. setup previously tuned put down ~450hp and 600tq - not tuned at the time i raced him so again i dont know.

SS is in the close lane, Z28 is in the far lane

oh and CM, listen to ~33secs into it, for once the camera got my turbo noise a little bit haha.

VIDEO (1.2mb)

as usual i had my car setup a little higher than before..
it should go in this week to dyno again and be pumped up a little see if i can get it to atleast lean out enough to come back onto the a/f charts this time.

Filmed on private property my azz... which private street you know of that has a Green HWY sign on the top and an exit ramp? Not to mention the cars driving behing yall and the cars going the opposite way on the other side of the freeway. Not to mention the sign at the top has an Interstate Logo. Who owns a piece of Interstate, this I want to know.

Hmmm I think that sums up my entire hlh0501 turbo kit. Maybe you should take a look at the current setup and understand what a real turbo kit look like, not a hacked up one. BTW this aint a hlh0501 turbo kit anymore, its a Big Dog turbo kit now.

There is nothing I can say that wont get this thread going for days - something I am not interested in doing right now

I am not very in the loop anymore with his car considering this post would be the closest thing dixit has come to contacting me in many months.

Harold, you never cease to amaze me. Crappy vid quality, but amazing kills.

The power your making is just disgusting, and normal folk like me could not handle it. You are one insane guy, taking out those big V8's with your 3.0L.

I did Kirk, trust me. Dixit is a buddy of mine and I am not fond of people not owning up to the products they sell and then not giving any restitution for a kit that don't perform well and then requires alot of additional monies to get it right. Not good business practice in my opinion......

Wtf?!?!

That video is a complete waiste of download.

WTF?? was that. For all I could tell you were driving in traffic and passed a V-8. Couldn't see crap, the film wasn't even long. For all I know you did a ricer fly-by!

And yeah, I am definitely wondering who onws a street with highway signs. Take it to the track tough guy before we see you on the news in handcuffs for running over some kid or have to put up some memorial here for you when you crash.

You produce that dyno at 456whp and still cant produce a dyno sheet, no the dyno you video taped and then the chart aint good enough. Not to mention you say you sprayed then you didnt, anyone can spray 100shot wet on the dyno and say "heres my dyno at 10psi".

Amazing how you can put down 456whp at 10psi when there are more boosted maximas out there that have 10psi s/c and turbos that are no where near the 350-400whp marker. But thats right, my bad your car has magical powers. Not to mention you modified your gear ratios and probably dynoed in the wrong gear and inflated the numbers.

Not to mention were you not the one that talked about how you cant atlitude correct turbos and all that jazz? yet on your dyno you STD corrected it? That shiet is way more correction than SAE. Post some real numbers for a change. Stop trying to BS all these members in your attempt to gain status.

You didn't answer any questions, so I stated again that I didn't know what you are talking about having law enforcement around.

And you are right, my car is weak. I guess that's why it went 119mph at the track only spraying 3rd and 4th. And if you don't believe the numbers, I invite you to visit - I'm driving to the dyno this week hopefully to tune it up a little better considering last dyno was below a 10:1 a/f when I made 453.9 and 460tq and also start turning it up again too. And when do I not claim to be spraying? Now for you to say I'm running 100shot just shows you don't know what you are talking about. And yes my gears were modified, but my most recent dyno was on a stock tranny (considering my cryo re-geared lsd one is sitting in the garage) in 4th gear. You're welcome to come spectate.

dblrr900: sorry the video was a waste of your time - I wouldn't bother downloading any of my others past/future as many of them are of the same nature - that's your choice to download. In regards to it being a short film, when you are running cars making someone decent hp believe it or not the gears go fast. That run was approx 50 - 125mph (3rd and 4th gear), I don't see a point in going faster unless I need to. The point was proved by the time that video was over, so why bother going more? You then follow yourself saying race longer, to say don't race, little confused. I am very careful/particular about when/where I race and keep it safe - I don't street race. There is always the chance of needing a memorial, there are dangers even when racing on the track.

I am not a navigation expert or anything...but what I saw was a race, on the street, with a massive amount of other traffic around. To me, that was a street race. Not a particularly safe one either, with all the other cars around and such.

Why are you trying to justify your street racing with an excuse that you don’t go over 125??? Thank god your Idot a$$ is in California. 3000 miles away from me. You are street racing with other cars around that you have no control over. Fact is I have two kids, and the fear of a jacka$$ like you racing down the road and flipping your car into mine is what scares me. Don't try to justify your actions by throwing in how you don’t see the need to go past 125.

You are right about the track. But... If you kill yourself at the track, then I DONT CARE. You are killing you, and maybe the other guy who signed a waiver to race there, but you are not killing families or other people. When will you idiots learn that you can't control everything that is happening. I used to street race too, a lot. Then one day I had to wake up and realize that one second and not only am I gone, but so are the people around me. Ennie, Mennie, Minnie, Mo! You are it!

Do you get to choose whom you will kill today?

Hal - If you are going to street race, fine, say it openly. Do not try to put stupid remarks at the end of your video to state you are ok, or try to justify your speeds. Just say you are doing, and take the blame for whatever happens, don't try to be a weasel

Id recommend you keep your comments of my kit that he installed to yourself, you got ZERO clue on what the problems on the kit are and secondly you dont own one. When you do, you can make your comments. Till then dont try to tell me im bishing about the kit.... if I was, then why did I just spend 35days and over $1000 rebuilding it myself? If I was still bishing about it wouldnt I still have his kit in there and get him to redo it? Get your facts straight smoky.
