I'm trying to remove my alternator and I'm having trouble removing the lower alternator bolt. It appears to be a square. Does anyone know what size wrench will fit on to this square bolt (it appears to be 18mm which of course I do not have).

my alternator on my 98' was recalled, got a new one for free, dealer installed. i would expect you should receive the same thing unless it was just in 1998.
