Fuel Door Cable Lever Broke

Dunno what happend, but the fuel door cable lever broke. The one in the cabin by the drivers door. Anyone had this happen? Seems like a pain to fix.

Thoughts?

BTW, I'm now just popping my trunk and reaching between the sheet metal and manually "popping" the door open...

this site can be pretty lame...all this talk about fart pipes and y-pipes...

it's frustrating to post a question and have nobody post anything of value...

apparently the only concern here is how to kill a bmw or 4-banger civic...or make fart sounds w/ your car to make it sound like a true ricer...

maybe i should just a V8 truck...

Is it just the lever that broke? Is the cable still intact? I think that lever is just part of an assembly that bolts to the floor. You could probably just buy a new one from Nissan and swap out the broken one for the new one. Call the parts dept. and ask, I'm sure other people have done this before. Mine is bent but not broken (yet)
