P0400 and P0325

P0400 and P0325
My 97 Maxima gets these two codes simulataneous, P0400 and P0325. The first has to do with the EGR system and the other is the knock sensor. Why do I get both codes at the same time. What is the real faoult that causes them. Any ideas?
