When I changed my suspension out a couple of weeks ago there were the remains of some reddish/orange pieces of foam rubber that were around the shaft of the front OEM struts. I couldn't re-use them because they were totally destroyed. Exactly what are these and should I replace them since I'm most likely putting on some H&R springs in the real near future? BTW, I have the KYB GR-2's and KYB dustboots all around.
