Now my exhaust sounds like a DOHC V6. A few days ago it sounded like a 3 cyl Geo Metro!!! The raspiness was really bad!! I got rid of the raspiness by adding a 24" glass pack after the last O2 sensor.

I have a Stillen y, 12" glass pack in place of the cat, 2.25" piping, 24" glass pack after the last O2 sensor, a turbo muffler and a resonated 3.5" tip. man it sounds sweet, has a nice growl. The y-pipe aslo seemed to make the intake note a little deeperI header wrapped the y-pipe flex section and it got rid of most of the hiss under full throttle.

Sorry for the basically boring post, but I had to share it......... next is the air box mod.....continuing my ultimate search for quiet performance......

 

Doesn't the whole car feel more refined when you quiet things down? When you do the airbox mod, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the minmal noise it produces (~20% louder than the stock setup). You won't realize you're going as fast as you are with a quiet setup. I love being "stealth".

That is another thing I noticed , the smoothness of the engine, it feels more refined yet powerful as ever. I like it. Does anyone know if glass packs have a lot of effect on flow?
