After it rains or after I get a car wash when I open my trunk water comes out of the lights on the trunk lid!! It's annoying as crap. One of the inner pieces also rattles around when the subs hit and it looks weird. Think I should go back to red/clears....?

 

Are you sure you installed them correctly?

 

I've had em on for 8 months with no probs. Now it's leaking!!

 

Hmm, try a reinstall would be my best advice. Maybe just over time something came loose or a piece cracked. I've never had that problem with mine.

 

if you want a quick and easy fix for the water or condensation problem just take a small drill bit and drill a hole at the bottom most part of the light. or just re-silicon.

 

Red Clears!!! No offense but altezzas are

Your car would look awesome with the red clears on there.. sorry bud, but your altezzas --IMHO-- make your car look so cheap..

 

Just double check everything. mine dont leak and i got 2 15s and they dont vibrate or look funny or nuthin and i always pressure wash them at the car wash

and genII altezzas arent gay, i personally dont like the chrome ones but the genII gunmetal or carbon fiber ones are very clean lookin......not stock lookin

 

Well, everyone has their own tastes and that's cool - I guess I'm more for the subtle changes not everyone will notice.. like the red/clears

 

Dude the gen-2's look pimp at night with the leds and they are very clean compared to other altezzas.


But the red/clears are sweet too because they keep the subtle look and clean up the rear end w/o drawing any attention to it. I just don't them quite as much cause they look stock.

 

Johnathon, did you get altezza's? Well, welcome to the 'world of rice'. I personally think that the red/clears looked great on your car, but I can't blame you for wanting something different. Get with Darrick or one of the other members and get my phone number. If you'd like we can get together and fix them like I fixxed mine. (Get them fixxed before Saturday's meet)

 

who the hell cares if they are rice. if you think they look good on your own car. Your own, then keep them. I personally would keep them and fix them. They look tight.
