my car stopped working out of the blue a couple days ago. i posted it on this forum and you guys thought it was probably my alternator...haha not exactly.

I should have gotten a hint when I popped open my hood and saw what looked like a half eaten KFC 3-piece chicken meal on my engine. i didnt think much of it so i picked off the pieces by hand and flung them on the street.

The shop just called me back and informed my that some of my belts were messed up and they needed to replace them. whew..i thought that's not too bad.

However the reason this happened is due to a huge Baltimore Sewer RAT!! They found pieces of its flesh, bones, guts, and fur all over my engine compartment. I'm glad I know nothing about engines and never bothered taking a closer look!
Apparently it was eating dinner next to the warmth of my engine when i turned my baby on. It made a clunk but I floored it anyways because i was late to a job interview on campus. My belts apparently shredded that sucker to pieces. Nissan said they're still arguing over who has to clean it up. The labor charge is kinda crazy but its still less then what you'd have to pay me clean it myself. oh wells.

shoot..now that i think about it some of those chicken pieces i picked out looked kinda raw. =P

Sorry to hear about your incident, but it's pretty funny.

Is this Phil96se's KMC meal deal?

I remember the first baltimore rat I saw. I was at the corner of Russell and Pratt st and the S.O.B. was as big as a manhole cover! I was glad I was in my max. Just another reason to keep a pocket knife handy.

That is why I am glad I do not live up north. No rat problems in Florida. I would pay them to clean it before I ever thought about doing it my self.

Anyone seen my cat??

Here kitty kitty kitty...

That's pretty bad. I hit a small blackbird once on the highway, and it got wedged into where the fog lamp assembly hole is...but at least it was in one piece, not splattered throughout.

I don't mind snakes, spiders, or any other creepy crawlers, but I'm afraid of rats and I've never even seen any as big as described here. Those things carry all kinds of diseases and they scare the sh?t out of me. I always think of the book 1984 when they put hungry rats in a box next to this guys head (he is also terrified of rats) and the rats are eating through the box. Heebee jeebees
