Hello-

I just got one parking ticket at a "No Standing" + a speeding ticket doing 72 on a 30 zone!!!! I could of sworn that it was part of the highway since there were no houses, traffic lights, houses, or anything. Anyone know how I can fight these tickets? Any input would be great. Thank you!

go back to the site where you got the speeding ticket and look for a speed limit sign. If it's 30 then you're screwed..

the no standing ticket is pretty self-explanatory. If you were standing, then you're guilty.

72 in a 30??? Geezus girl you drive faster than me. That's 42 over....I have no clue how you can fight that. Good luck though

 

i doubt you can fight the standing ticket..

as far as the speeding ticket.. I think you are screwed. good luck. that is going to be a hefty fine. I once got a 390.00 ticket it was not fun!

 

if its your first offense and you go to court dressed nice and explain your position with sincerity, the magistrate or judge may dismiss it. I think the worst that will happen is hell knock it down to like 50-100 dollar ticket. Take pictures of the area you were driving and bring them with you. GL

 

Standing up for your own mistakes may take a while.

 

Were you speeding? yes. you're guilty.
Were you parked somewhere you weren't supposed to be? Yes. You're guilty.

best you can do is go to the judge and ask for leniancy, but don't expect much when you get caught doing 72 in a 30.
