SRS Light Blinking

What the heck! I had a rear tail light burn out. Replaced it with the correct bulb (7443) and the next thing I know the SRS light is blinking!!

Anyone know what is going on?

do you mean ses? (service engine soon) or are you talking about the air bag light?

I am talking about the airbag light and the seatbelt restraint light (which are together), which is the single SRS light --"supplemental restraint system".

i cant see how the two could be related. have you had your cabin microfilter changed recently or perhaps a small fender bender? there is a plug behind the glove box for air bag activation that has to be moved in order to replace the microfilter. just a few ideas.

You may be right, could be just coincidental. Nothing else has happened. Microfilter has not been changed, no fender benders, etc. Fortunately the car is still under warranty.
