2k2 rear brake pads
2k2 rear brake pads
i'm trying to find some good moderately priced rear brake pads for my 2k2. apparently, neither hawk nor axxis make any rear brake pads for 2002 maximas.. what would you guys recomend for a good rear brake pad for mildly aggressive driving? not having the brakes squeal is very important. they will be used with powerslot rotors btw. thanks.
Tagging along on this one.
Just did the GD on front and rear powerslot rotors too.
Looks like Hawk pads are available(and recommended) for front.
What to do with rears though?
BTW, 2k2 max GLE auto here and I am pretty laid back with my brakes, but I've got the brake judder problem too at 28k miles.
I cant figure out if the rotors/pads suck or if my using the park brake messed them up.
Are you 6 spd drivers getting some really torn up rotors?

I have a 2k2 GLE. I have Hawk pads up front & they are great! They got rid of the "judder" I was experiencing from overheating the brakes. I love them.
I just ordered rear Raybestos pads from Ange for my rear brakes:

Call her up & ask about the pads.
