Bose /Speakers Problem

Does anyone have this problem? The balance on my speaker seems to be off. The right side is louder than the left side when I play the radio. And if I play the CD, there are times the whole left side goes dead. But if I hit a bump or something, it'll come back. What's up with that? Loose wire? Also, the CD player skips every now and then. Is this common? or do I just have a crappy CD player.

Can someone explain the volume control that adjusts to the speed? Does it really work?

Take it into the dealer, seems like the radio is to blame here. As for the volume control, check out my site for more info.

Same problem here.
I have to get mine replaced yet.
Don't let them tell you it was a loose wire.

So I should just bring it in and tell them that the front speaker doesn't work? The whole left side dies sometimes. And then if I hit a bump it comes back. Weird...this is a know defect?

Sorry to hear you're having this problem in your 2003. I'll say it's a problem. It took more than six months and four Bose head units before ours was finally fixed. There have been many, many posters who have had the same problems. Good luck.
