Opinions needed. What type of hp/tq gains can be expected with the addition of the Warpspeed Y Pipe to a 2.5" custom cat-back exhaust set-up with the Injen intake. I've heard good things about the Y. Just trying to get some last minute feedback before purchase. Warpspeed said I can expect around 12-15hp on a 2000 Max like mine. They could just be blowin smoke for a quick sale. Any positive or negative advice greatly appreciated. Does it increase the sound tremendously? Thanks.

 

y pipe is a good mod for the $$. Depends on the car but 12-15 HP peak is reasonable with the mods you listed. The sound is not much louder at all with the Y. Most sound comes from the intake or even more from the muffler (depending on what you get)
