well boys and girls the tranny has 150K on it and I have no probs with getting into gear or grinding at all. I was just going to get a stock clutch and be done with it. Seeing how long I have gotten with my stock clutch(150kmi). It hold good to redline and will even spin the tires in first, but wslips horibly when quick shifted. I do not want a stronger clutch cause I don't want to kill the tranny. but should I at least look at a Centerforce Gold series or just stick with stock? thanks.

Given your current power mods, the stock clutch should be fine. You'll also want to take into consideration how much longer you plan on keeping the car. If less than a year or so, go stock. If you know you'll have it for 5 more years, it might justify the installation of a performance clutch. You might also find that an aftermarket clutch is a good value. This was true for struts when I went for Tokicos for my 91GXE...they were actually cheaper (installed price) than the stock ones.

ADVICE-->

JUST DON'T BUY THAT NISSAN KEY VALUE CLUTCH PACKAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT **** SUCKS MAJOR *****!

If you do go stock or aftermarket, you might want to consider getting the flywheel lightened. That's what I'm gonna do when I change mine out for oem Nissan stock(the oem Nissan is okay. just not the packaged key value stuff). If I get off my *** and do it, I'll post and let everyone know how it goes. I'm getting stock one lightened. So the maximum amount would only be 3-5lbs. No big deal but the ve needs to rev faster.

Ok......

I kbow that a flywheel can be reused, as a matter of fact they do resurface them when new clutch is installed. But lightening one I did not know they could do. GREAT! then I want a Stage I centerforce clutch. they advertise %30 mor hold. the dual frictioin is just too much$ and hard on the tranny. would that %30 centerforce hols with a VGT? LOL
hmm %30 percent would out it in the 208hp on the flywheel,
and the dual friction at %90 more holding power = 304h[ at the fly. numbers and choices. Guess I'll flip a quarter.

You might want to check->

ACT clutches. They are cheaper than Centerforce. Great reputation also. I think Cyclone might make some for ours also.
