survey, which tires do you have (size, make, etc)?

ok, just read deezo's blown tire story.. it appears that people are interested in what others are driving on- sizes, makes, and, most importantly, experiences.
so here is an idea, if a lot of people reply with
1 size
2 make
3 model
4 opnion (1-5, 1-very bad, 5-very good)
I will tabulate the data. I think it'd be interesting to see what the numbers would show..
feel free to write lengthy stories, but make sure you answer these 4 Qs (preferably in that order).

any comments are welcome!

thanks
Roman

This has been a very good tire. I recently drove them at 90 mph for appx 3 hrs straight, thru the California desert into the Arizona desert w/no probs whatsoever. Comfort, noise, and ride are all excellent.

size: stock 16 inch SE
make: Kumho
model: Ecsta Supra 712
opinion: 4, they were noisy at first, but after a few thousand miles they quieted down.. wet traction seems decent as well

2.5 good price and real quiet but the tread life is way too low.

1 size : 225/50/16
2 make: Yokohama
3 model: AVS ES100
4 opnion: Excellent grip, ride, and wet handling. The only bad thing is they wear out fairly quick.

They are pretty good. Stops well but we'll see since the rainy season is coming up here in CA.

While I am no tire expert, I do feel that the sidewalls aren't that strong, especially going around tight corners. Maybe I just need to get used to them.

4) 3.75, I haven't had them even a week yet so I can't have a complete review. They come a close second to my Advan A086R's on my Lude.

They wear very fast, wear pattern is not even, and after about 8k miles, sound like the all terrains I used to run on the pickup. NEVER again!

Extremely satisfied with the tires. Good price and great performance. Great tread wear rating (400) And all-season to boot.

I don't know how they are wearing yet but they have only been on for about 3000 miles. They are very quite, and grip pretty well.

1. Tire Size: 225/50/16
2. Rim Size: 16 x 7.5
3. Model: Toyo Proxes T1-S
4. Rating 5

Long Story:

I put 225/50/16 on the stock 97 se five spoke rims and HATED it, performance/handling went into the ****er for me. But had new rims coming and straightened all that out. I recommend 215/55/16 over 225/50/16 on a 16 x 6.5 rim. And that is if anyones wondering.

The Toyo's are flat out awesome in wet and dry conditions and I love them. Not to mention they weighed in at 20 pounds a piece on moms old bathroom scales.

I haven't bought them yet but the BFGoodrich Comp T/A's are awesome. I went to a test drive event comparing those to another brand (don't remember which ones but I was with my friend who drives a 300ZX and they were highly praised by them). There was a HUGE difference. I could control the car w/ no problems using the BFGoodrich ones, the other ones I knocked over half the course they set up. I never realized how much of a difference tires make.

Quality Tire/Cheap/great ride(possibly b/c they're so fat though??) Not too loud. I've had Dunlop's,Yoko's, Faulken's, and Toyo's. I like these 2nd best behind Dunlop's SP9000. I've had to slam on the brakes a few times on the interstate and they responded perfectly, handleing in the rain is awsome too.

I drive lots (25-30K/year) and need more of a mileage tire. Pretty quiet when new and still not bad now that they are quite worn. Decent snow traction. Squeal A LOT once they get 1/2 worn and wet traction has faded quite a bit to the point I need to watch it on on-ramps, etc. 1 set (on a differnt Maxi) had one tire which had internal belt failure...the tire was almost to the wear bars anyway but the car was a-shakin til I got a replacement.
