im planning on gettin maxima gle 2000.
can anyone tell me 0-60, 0-100 times
what cheapest and effective mods can be done to this car to make it faster?
not planning to spend more than 1500. just need a lil more speed.
want to make it as fast or even faster than my previos lincoln mark viii which was 0-100 in 17 seconds flat.

Buy a 2002+ you get more HP than a 2000 (not taking anything away from the early 5th gen's)

 

Uhhhhh....you mean early 5th Gen, right? The last year for 4th gens was 1999.

The reviewer tested the SE and GLE, and with two passes his test GLE went 0-60 in 7.15 and 7.17 seconds. I don't know about 0-100 times, however.

As for speed performance mods, just check around the site as others have said. The GLE is only available with the 4-speed automatic transmission, but there are things to help improve the situation, that's for sure.
