Creaking/Squeaking Drivers seat

This happens when I am going around a corner or pulling out from a light. It is very annoying. I have tightened the front mounting bolts. Does anyone else have this problem? If I turn the radio up loud enough, I don't hear it, but that should not be the solution.

Thanks

I have this and I think it is coming from the seat belt buckle. I have had some success by positioning the seat differently, but it never went away. Further complicating matters is the fact that that area is difficult to access so I haven't been able to get in there and tighten and/or lubricate the joint.

Bingo. I have the squeaky selt belt too, and it goes away i I push the buckle down. I'll let you know if I figure out a fix.

So far the best way to deal with it is to turn up the radio.

The squeak/creaking is probably caused by the right thigh bolster rubbing against the left side of the center console (just behind the hand brake) when you're cornering. I get it ALL the time. Took me awhile to figure out why it squeaked so much. I'm thinking of applying some foam tape to that area where it touches the thigh bolster to minimize the squeak.

(For a car like the Maxima, i'd expect to hear alot less squeaking/creaking... )

take care,
