i got two problems:

i have an aftermarket headunit (sony) and occasionally i hear like static noise or electric interference kinda noise coming through the speakers (i just had rockfords put in). anyone have any ideas?

second, i have an obx cat and when i accelerate sometimes, gradually not forcefully, i hear a rattling sound coming form i think the mid pipe. i don't know much about cars... hopefully y'all can help me out. thanks.

 

If its a signal noise, you have a bad ground most likely. A midpipe wont cause noise in your stereo.

 

the stereo noise and the midpipe noise have nothing to do with each other... i just posted together to save space
