link or info on stock 0-60 times?

i was wondering what my bone stock 95 SE auto does 0-60 (factory spec). and from what i understand, it's pretty much the same for all 4th gens, right?

i've also read that even though the 2000 got the HP boost, it's times are the same. true?

and finally, when the max went to the 255hp 3.5, did it become faster?

again, i'm looking for factory specs.

cat-stats.com aren't too accurate. they are based on individual person rather than an average statistics. search on the org to see if you can come up with some slips on the org. they are more realistic.

the maximas with the 3.5 are significantly faster than any other maximas in stock form. For instance, my calculated 0-60 time based off 1/8 mile time/MPH is around 6.3 seconds - faster than any 5 speed or auto max prior to the 3.5. The average 0-60 times of 4th gen 5 speeds are high 6's I believe, and low to mid 7's for the autos. In stock form of course, something you dont find much of here on the org. Hope this hels

High-7 range.

Pretty much. The extra power was nullified by a 200 lb weight increase and higher unsprung weight from bigger wheels and tires.

Yes.

Unfortunately the factory does not always "spec" their vehicles. But you might want to check this out.

https://maxima.org/shoptalk/sub_read...ns/index.shtml

That will cover all of the 3.0 Maximas. I'm just waiting for somebody to dyno their bloody 2004 Max already and I'll do a 3.5 shoot-out also.

how is he suppose to know about sticky and faqs and search?
as you can see, he is new and not very active. did u immediatly go to search or faqs when u joined this site?

so instead of typing buncha bs, u can just type the answer and be more usefull.

if you want this forum to be inactive then why u bother coming here?
i would like to see new posts and questions and i come here to learn/help as much as possible. not to make fun of some guy and try to be funny

Maybe he's supposed to know by reading the sequence of letters under his screen name...but if he did actually search, he'd see no less than 100 posts about this very subject.

yea he could have searched and found out, but he is new, and i see no real reason to get on his case. kenji could have linked a search or just said "hey search" wouldnt have been too hard or anything. i guess im actually agreeing with doggy, but its something ive talked about before... they're newbies for a reason, and sometimes need some help thats life
