Hey all, did Nissan up the power in the middle of the 4th generation like they did in the 5th? I know the 5th just got an extra .5 but still. I read that the '99s have 227 stock whereas my 96 has 190 stock? Is that correct or is someone just pumping themselves up with wishful thinking? Thanks.

 

95-99's have 190 stock, 2000 when the body changed it was moved up to 222, then for the 25th aniversary edition in 2k1 it went to 227, 2k2-3 and is 255 and 2k4 is 265......someone correct me if im wrong

 

2k2-2k3 are 240hp, something about nissan inflating HP. Torque however is in the 260tq range...

Almost got it. 2K2-2k3s are 255 hp, the 2K4 is 265 hp, and the 240 hp is in the Altima V6. Then of course, you have the 260 hp in the G35 sedan, 280 hp in the G35 coupe, and 287 hp in the 350z. Nissan has been whoring this VQ35 motor all over the place

I believe it has that same engine in that murano and in the quest minivan. The vq35 is a damned **** at least the vq30 only came in the maxima/i30(i think)
